Technicolor PostWorks Services Emmy Nominees

NEW YORK—Technicolor PostWorks New York provided post-production services for five television series and three documentaries that received nominations in the 67th Emmy® Awards.

Nominated series include:

The Americans (FX) is nominated for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series (Joshua Brand) and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series (Margo Martindale).

Technicolor PostWorks provided digital dailies, VFX, editorial conforming, and color grading.




Boardwalk Empire (HBO) is nominated for 10 Emmys, including Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series (Tim Van Patten), Outstanding Cinematography for a Single-Camera Series (Jonathan Freeman, ASC) and Outstanding Sound Editing for a Series (Fred Rosenberg).

Technicolor PostWorks provided film processing, dailies, VFX, scanning, editorial conforming, and color grading services.

Nurse Jackie (Showtime) is nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical (Edie Falco).

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt (Netflix) is nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series, Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series (Tituss Burgess), Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series (Jane Krakowski and Tina Fey) and Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series (Jon Hamm).

Vice (HBO) is nominated for Outstanding Informational Series or Special

Going Clear: Scientology And the Prison of Belief (HBO), is nominated for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special, Outstanding Writing for Nonfiction Programming (Alex Gibney), Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming (Alex Gibney), Outstanding Cinematography for Nonfiction Programming (Sam Painter), Outstanding Picture Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Andy Grieve), Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Bill Chesley), and Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming (Tony Volante).

The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst (HBO is nominated for Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Series, Outstanding Directing for Nonfiction Programming (Andrew Jarecki), Outstanding Cinematography for Nonfiction Programming (Marc Smerling), Outstanding Picture Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Richard Hankin), Outstanding Sound Editing for Nonfiction Programming (Matthew Snedecor), and Outstanding Sound Mixing for Nonfiction Programming (Coll Anderson, MPSE).
